97. Hong Kong - Golden Siam Thai Restaurant

* This was taken in Hong Kong during 18-24 Jun 2007.

The Pad Thai was good. At a corner of the plate, they put some ground peanuts instead of sprinkling them on top of the pad thai.

This is their Tom Yum Soup for 1 pax. The price wasn't listed in the receipt that I had took and I couldn't remember how much was it. They named it Tom Yum Kung. They had added coconut milk to it and the soup was more like curry. I didn't like it. Also, it was pretty oily.

The combination platter. A combination of the thai fish cakes, pandan chicken, fried shrimps and fried po piah. It was just average. The fried food was pretty oily.

Roast Chicken. Their dipping sauce was the thai sweet chilli sauce instead of the pepper and salt we usually have. The roast chicken was tasteless.
The fried rice with shrimp was a normal dish. It wasn't exceptionally good, just alright.

The figures stated next to the dishes were not the price. I could still remember that this meal totalled up to about SGD70+ which I think was pretty expensive. Other than the roast chicken which was more costly, the rest weren't very much expensive stuffs. I was a few times during dining times and it was pretty packed.
