19. Street Cafe

HongKong cuisine. Decoration of the cafe is also HK-style. Pretty expensive. Food tastes nice though. Pretty crowded during peak hours.
18. Nihon Mura
Sushi(s) at SGD0.99 cents per plate. Cheap if you're just going for sushi(s). Rather unique way of ordering your food. Sticks indicating a dish is placed in a holder for order and such sticks are located at different cooking booths. A bit like Sakura buffet where they used pegs instead. Their sushi rice is nice. Other food is pretty much the same as other Jap cuisine.
17. 川一品 + 记得吃
川一品. Went to the bugis branch. Very crowded. Style is almost like Seoul garden. Fewer varieties as compared to other steamboat outlets in the same area. Fixed price of SGD21.80 per pax. 2 levels, one in the basement. Tedious if seated in the basement, will have to walk up and down the narrow spiral staircase with plates of food. Ordered spicy and herbal chicken soup base. The spicy soup base was very bland.

Red bean paste

记得吃 sells traditional desserts. I think it snatches most of ah chew's desserts's customers located opposite. Went there after the steamboat and it was already full house. I think 记得吃 is better than ah chew's. Personal preference.
