133. Foodies Queen @Henderson Waves

It was a bright, chirpy Sunday morning. Don't waste your beautiful Sunday morning in bed. I was with a big group of people, taking a real good stroll over at Henderson Wave. Look at the sea of red caps. Wooo....what a sight! Yes. Foodies Queen (FQ) was in the outing activity with a group of elderly this morning. Due to the huge crowd, the Henderson Wave removed from solitude with so much genki (in Japanese - lively, energetic, healthy).
I can't help but astound at the great work of the architects and civil engineers with the creation of the Henderson Wave. The view wasn't so great because of the blockage by the trees, also there weren't many things to see, just nearby HDB flats and at far end, a small view of the PSA port. But, standing on the Henderson Wave, it made me feel: Man do wonders, don't they.
While waiting for the guest of honour, MP Miss Grace Fu, the elderly stretched their limbs with the exercises which I thought was quite weird. But the elderly followed suite. So cute. The auntie and uncle leaders sang songs to keep the group enthusiatic. MP Miss Grace Fu joined us at the Henderson Wave. So sporty, isn't she?
Walking on, we met an uncle in full green, posing at the peak of a slope. He did capture the attention of everyone with his weird poses.
More exercises. The Singapore Workout combined with the set of clapping exercises. So enthusiatic.
The outing didn't end with just the trail at Henderson Wave. We moved on to the Singapore Heart Foundation event held at Jurong East Interchange. CPR skills, heart pulse machines, milk powder booths, insurance booths ...all that were related to your heart, you could find them at the Singapore Heart Foundation event. Is it time to give your heart more emphasis?

The club is a healthy sandwich. Oatmeal and grains bread with lettuce, tomatoes and ham. It was quite tasteless though.

My friend and I headed to Delifrance for an early lunch as we did not want to be trapped in the crowd at the event. Each of us got a classic set at $10.60 (w GST) which consisted of a sandwich, a bowl of soup and a tea.
